Conquering Fear with Faith: THE UNKNOWN

Many of us fear things, both familiar and unfamiliar.

• What are some things you fear that you know well?

• What are some things you fear that are unknown?

It’s true, the unknown can be scary. Often, anxiety stems from the lack of control we perceive over future outcomes. We can’t predict the next minute, hour, day, or year.

Finding Peace Through Prayer

But here’s the good news: God offers comfort and guidance in these times.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

God tells us not to be anxious. Instead, we should bring our worries and concerns to Him through prayer. Express your petitions with thanksgiving, acknowledging His blessings.

Taking Action

• What are you anxious about today?

• How can you turn those anxieties into prayers?

Peace Through Faith

By placing your trust in God, you can experience a peace that surpasses understanding. This peace will guard your heart and mind, giving you strength to face the unknown.

God doesn’t just offer rescue from fear, He grants peace, wisdom, and understanding. These gifts further equip you to navigate life’s uncertainties.
